a little about me . . .
Born and raised in Harlem, I am currently in service as Senior Managing Director of Black Community Alliances on Teach For America's national Public Partnerships team. Through this work, I’ve ensured the recruitment and retention of Black educators, forged partnerships between Teach For America, Black legacy and national advocacy organizations including, UNCF, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and the National Women's Law Center. This work has afforded educators the opportunity to be trained and advocate for equitable school discipline practices and end the inequitable push out of girls of color in our nation's schools.
In addition to my work at Teach For America, I founded Seventh Suite and lead as Managing Partner and Strategist. Seventh Suite is creative services firm that develops traditional and digital brand strategy for socially conscious influencers and brands. My portfolio includes brand development and content strategy for some of your most impactful social activists and digital influencers. In addition, I’ve led operational planning and partnership acquisition for equity focused national and international conferences.
So what have you been up to?
